Hi, I'm Kris- if you're bad with names, I also respond to "Your Royal Highness"..haha..looking for new friends, maybe more. I have a law enforcement degree, but I work mostly for the Church...Wicked sense of humor, love to play cribbage, don't smoke, don't drink, don't gamble, don't dance (unless I get a paper cut...), Love to cook for others, and yes, I'm a Packer-backer...I can't listen to country music, or as I like to call it- "Migraine Music"....Love classical, "doo-wop", Christian hymns, and, odd as it may sound, I love the sound of Church bells. I love to travel and site see...I like history a lot...I'm quite compassionate...I comfort animals as much as I can...and people. I read, the last book being "Heaven Is For Real" by Colton and Todd Burpo. Oh- you might want to know, I have a clean record. One of the stories about law enforcement education I have from school at the center for criminal justice and law enforcement is about weapons training...I'm terribly gun shy, so I was terrified of that first day on the range...My instructor was great, talking me through everything, so I chambered a round, aimed at the target and squeezed the trigger. Wouldn't you know I hit the middle of the darn thing?! Ok, so it would have been better had it been MY target....;) Let's see- what else....I don't have any tattoos....three reasons- 1- I have a total phobia of needles...2- I don't have that kind of money...and 3- even though I'm 48, yes- my mom would kill me! so my identifying mark is the Crucifix I wear. I appreciate art and my favorite work is "The Pieta" by Michaelangelo. I'm a devout Lutheran with a sense of humor- Last week at the annual Church meeting, I was at a table with several ladies, and I dropped my fork...when I bent down to pick it up, I set my chin on the table and introduced myself as John the Baptist. I thought Sister Linda was going to faint...my mom thought it was pretty funny...I have a brother who came into this world with mental retardation, cerebral palsy and epilepsy...He belongs to People Of Praise, which is a group that started out as "Christ For People With Disabilities"...They have a service every Thursday, and I take John. I encourage people to come and see this, as it's like nothing you've ever experienced...and they have an annual Christmas pageant- you have to get there early as it's standing room only...and it's at Riverdale Church. I live with my mom, and have since 1- my Father passed, and 2- the landlady I rented a room from became a member of the deep- end club...Mom's a retired Nurse from Mercy-Unity.I'm really not a "Badger" so to speak...I was on another dating site and this popped up as a possibility.. So I took a chance and hope it works...If we didn't take risks, Michaelangelo would've painted the Sistine floor...I'm in search of work now- I was a process server for 12 years, and in April, I broke my ankle and that was the end of that job.let's see what else- I'm told I'm pretty smart... I'm not the brightest button in the box either....I like crossword puzzles, sudokus, solving tv crimes...I studied the paranormal for over 30 years...I'm also a "random act of kindness" kind of lady, anonymously buying a lone diner their meal...Once I gave away my doctor's appointment to a sick baby..I didn't want to go anyway- they were going to do labs...well, that's enough fun writing for one day...I hope you or a friend likes what I have written....Peace be with you!Kris.
